NAA provides its own student wellbeing and student support framework to ensure students receive timely guidance across personal, and wellbeing-related matters. This includes a safe, supportive and accessible point of contact for students who may require advice, support, or referral to appropriate services when needed. NAA works closely with students to understand their concerns and to connect them with relevant internal or external support resources in a coordinated, professional and confidential manner. 

 

Making an AppointmentStudents seeking Student Wellbeing support may email studentwellbeing@naa.edu.sg to request an appointment. A member of the NAA Team will respond to arrange an appointment or provide appropriate support.

In addition to support provided by NAA, students may also access a range of student wellbeing, counselling and student support services offered by their respective university partners. These services are intended to support students’ academic journey, personal wellbeing, and overall student experience throughout their studies. Through this combined network of support, students have access to a comprehensive range of resources designed to promote wellbeing, resilience, and academic success. 

Students enrolled in King’s College London programmes may access a range of wellbeing and support services, including counselling support, mental health and wellbeing advice, disability support, chaplaincy services, peer support initiatives, and academic wellbeing resources through the King’s College London Student Wellbeing Services and King’s College London Mental Health and Wellbeing Support   

  • Personal Tutoring (Support Advisor) and Programme Leader Support 

 

Each student is assigned a Personal Tutor (Support advisor) at the start of the programme. Their details are communicated via the welcome email and are also available on KEATS. 

 

He/ she provides ongoing academic guidance and wellbeing support throughout the programme. Students may arrange meetings as needed using the available booking system or scheduled sessions. 

 

Meetings may take place in person during teaching visits or online where appropriateStudents are encouraged to make full use of their support for both academic and pastoral matters.

Students enrolled in Newcastle University programmes may access dedicated student wellbeing support services.  

 

  • Academic Advising 

 

At Newcastle University, students will be assigned an Academic Adviser, a member of the NUiS academic team. The Academic Adviser refers and signposts to other academic guidance, wellbeing support, and wider university services according to the student’s needs and goals.
