The International Foundation Studies (IFS) programme is designed to prepare students for direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree.
Students who have successfully completed Secondary School, GCE O level, or an equivalent qualification could complete the IFS within 8 months. High school leavers (GCE A levels, IB Diploma or equivalent) who do not meet the entry requirements for a bachelor’s degree may be able to fast-track their studies and complete the IFS within a shorter duration through credit exemptions for relevant module(s).

Award

Teacher-Student Ratio
At Ngee Ann Academy we are committed to providing a quality learning environment. In order to provide necessary academic support and to maximise the student learning experience, we maintain a well-balanced teacher-student ratio: Lecture – 1:30
Minimum Class Size – 15. In an event that the class cannot commence due to low take up rate, applicants will be informed within 2 weeks before programme commencement.
Teaching staff: Students can be taught by Ngee Ann Academy full time lecturer or adjunct lecturer. Full details of the lecturing staff can be found here.
Assessment
Methods: Depending on your modules, you’ll be assessed through a combination of: • Class participation • Group project • Individual assignment/presentation • Quiz • Written examination
