Eligibility criteria

NAA Scholarship is awarded to individuals who demonstrated outstanding academic achievements, leadership qualities and special talents.

  • Open to Singapore citizens and Singapore Permanent Residents only.
  • Outstanding academic results:
    • Polytechnic Diploma with a Grade Point Average of ≥ 3.6.
    • Good conduct with academic and/or professional supervisors’ reference/testimonial.
    • Must not be a recipient of other scholarship / sponsorship or study award.

    Terms & Conditions

    • The quantum of the Scholarship is up to $9,000 of the total programme fees.
    • The Scholarship holder is required to achieve ≥ 50% in every module/course for the scholarship award to be maintained, and obtain the degree qualification within the minimum period required of the course of study. No deferment/leave of absence is permitted.
    • The Scholarship holder must be a good role model and serve as an ambassador to promote NAA programme outreach during the period of study and for two years after completion of the degree.

    Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours students are able to apply for the CCMDA which is administered by the Agency for Integrated Care.


    CCMDA will fund up to 90% of the course fees and other relevant expenditure. The remaining 10% will be co-funded by the hiring organisation.

    • Be Singaporean or a Singapore Permanent Resident
    • Be supported by your hiring organisation
    • Have a good performance grade in your annual performance
    • Not have completed your study programme at the point of application

    • Unfunded course fee must be S$20.00 and above
    • Member must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for each application and sat for all prescribed examination(s), if any
    • UTAP application must be submitted within 6 months after course completion
    • NTUC members aged 40 and above can enjoy higher funding support up to $500 per individual each year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fees, for courses attended between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2025.

    The Sivadas – HEB Education Fund invites Hindu Students from low-income families pursuing tertiary education to apply for financial assistance to help them meet the cost of their education. Tuition Subsidy is for Hindu students who are Singaporean or Permanent Residents (PRs), enrolled in a Singapore registered Private Education Institute (PEI) approved by the Committee for Private Education (CPE) and pursuing a course leading to a first diploma or a first degree conferred by well-established universities and institutions. Applicants for the tuition Subsidy must be enrolled in a PEI that has been awarded the EduTrust Star or EduTrust (4 year award) by the CPE.

    NAA is introducing the “Find Your Study Buddy” campaign for the Bachelor of Science(BSc) in Nursing with Honours (Top-up), January 2024 intake.

    Students who plan to or have already registered for the course (also known as the Brand Ambassadors) can introduce another new applicant (known as the Study Buddy) to join them in the same January 2024 intake. Both the Brand Ambassador and his/her Study Buddy can get S$1,500 each respectively if their registrations in the same intake are successful.

    NAA will select five pairs of winners for the ‘Find Your Study Buddy’ promotion on a first come, first served basis. For more information, please refer to the terms and conditions displayed below.

    Terms & Conditions

    1. “Find Your Study Buddy” promotion is open to new students who will be enrolled in January 2024 for the BSc in Nursing with Honours (Top-up). All employees of NAA and their immediate family members are not allowed to participate in the promotion.

    2. Recipients of the promotion, ie. the Brand ambassador and Buddy will only be receiving the incentive once, ie. in the last module in Year 2.
    3. The pair of Brand Ambassador and Buddy are not allowed to defer studies/modules, payments and withdraw early from the course throughout the 2-year period.
    4. Both the Brand Ambassador and the Buddy must be successfully registered in the same intake, e.g. January 2024.
    1. NAA will select the five pairs of winners for Brand Ambassadors and Buddies on a first come, first served basis.

    2. “Find Your Study Buddy” promotion is conducted from 15 November 2023 to 14 December 2023 and is not open to applications from existing students in Year 1 and 2, undertaking the BSc in Nursing with Honours or till further advised.

    3. Any form of mischief or dishonest acts of deceit will be reported to the Academic Dean Office and the Singapore Police. Ngee Ann Academy reserves the right to take legal action in such instances to recover any
      outstanding amount.

    4. Ngee Ann Academy reserves the right to vary/amend the privileges, offers and/or terms and conditions without prior notice.

    5. Ngee Ann academy’s decisions on all matters relating to the Promotion shall be final and binding on all participants. No correspondence or appeal shall be entertained. In the event of any inconsistency between these terms and conditions and any brochure, marketing or promotional material relating to the Promotion, these terms and conditions shall prevail. 

    6. Not valid with any other ongoing promotions, and/or scholarships, study awards unless otherwise stated.

    7. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the laws of Singapore and each participant in the Promotion irrevocably submits to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
