Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours (Top-up)

The King’s College London’s Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours degree is fully accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board (SNB) since 2018.

King’s BSc in Nursing with Honours (Top-up) programme is fully accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board since 2018. The degree course is delivered and awarded by King’s College London Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care. The Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care at King’s is an internationally renowned centre for the delivery of cutting-edge education, training and research. It directly descended from the world’s first school of nursing – the Nightingale Training School – established by Florence Nightingale herself in 1860. Today King’s is ranked #1 in the UK and #2 in the World for Nursing in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026.

The Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours is 100% taught by nursing experts from the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery and Palliative Care and other Faculty of King’s College London.

The degree is awarded by King’s College London. There is no differentiation of the degree parchment from that received by students who studied on-campus in London.

All lecture notes and reading materials will be available through King’s College London’s Virtual Learning Environment entirely free once you are enrolled in the programme. Students will be able to access them 2-3 weeks in advance of the start of module.

The detailed timetable is available in advance and we recommend that students do not miss any sessions. We understand that emergencies or unexpected events may occur and, in these cases, students will need to inform the module leader as soon as possible to agree the best way forward for making up the lost time. This may involve a tutorial or some type of work students may need to complete on the materials so that module leaders can assess learning and provide feedback.

We will assess your progress and attainment on all modules you take on the programme through a range of techniques, which includes essays, portfolios, dissertation projects and online/on campus examinations. However, these differ from module to module. The Dissertation Project draws from the learning and skills acquired from other components of the programme and shows how different learning outcomes from the modules and study skills link together to demonstrate a coherent understanding of the requirements for competent practice and nursing care.
