The BSC in Nursing with Honours (Top-up) programme is taught by staff from the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care at King’s College London. Lessons are delivered in a combination of face-to-face classroom lectures and the King’s e-learning online platform, KEATS.
The programme will equip you with advanced, specialist knowledge to provide the best possible care, pioneer innovation and deliver improved outcomes for patients and their families.

This list of elective modules is indicative and may change each year. The degree is completed by an in-depth dissertation project, normally related to a practical issue within the student’s own organisation.
Award and Graduation
Students who successfully complete all academic requirements of the programme will be awarded the Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours by King’s College London, which is accredited by the Singapore Nursing Board. Graduating students have a choice to attend the degree-awarding ceremony in London or in Singapore.

Entry Requirements
A total of four entry points to the programme of Bachelor of Science in Nursing with Honours (Top-up) throughout a calendar year: January, April, July, and October.
Students must satisfy the following admission criteria:
- Registered Nurses with a valid practising certificate (Full/Conditional) from the Singapore Nursing Board
- A qualification of Diploma in Nursing awarded by Nanyang Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, or an approved institution OR
- A Nursing qualification (equivalent to 120 Level 5 credits or higher) awarded by an approved overseas Higher Education Institution
- CGPA of ≥ 2.7 as a benchmark for admission, in the case of the applicant’s CGPA being lower than 2.7 or scored by other grading systems, King’s may evaluate on an individual basis.
- English Language: ‘O’ Level English or English, as detailed in King’s entry requirements, or IELTS 6.5 (with a minimum score of 6.0 in each band/skill) or equivalent in another recognised test if the applicants obtained their qualification from countries where English is not the standard medium of instruction or their first language.
Other Information
Learning support and online student resources: Resources for learning support will be provided through King’s online learning platform, KEATS. This includes handbooks and online learning materials. Students will have access to King’s electronic resources such as eBooks, eJournals, bibliographic databases and other literature sources.
Teaching staff: Students are taught by staff from the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing, Midwifery & Palliative Care at King’s College London. Details of the lecturing staff can be found here.
Access to Results: Students may access results through the university’s online student records system.
Academic Appeal Policy and Process: If students believe that their performance in an assessment was significantly affected by mitigating circumstances or an administrative error on the part of the College, they can lodge an appeal to request a further attempt at the assessment.
Minimum Class Size: The minimum class size for the programme to run is 12 students. In the event that the class cannot commence due to low take-up rate, applicants will be informed at least 2 weeks before programme commencement and refunded their application fee.

There is no grant or subsidy available. However, if you are an alumnus from NAA or Ngee Ann Adelaide Education Centre (NAAEC), there will be a 10% discount to the total course fees.
