Programme Details
The International Foundation Studies (IFS) programme is designed to prepare students for direct entry to Year 1 of an undergraduate degree.
Students who have successfully completed Secondary School, GCE O level, or an equivalent qualification could complete the IFS within 8 months. High school leavers (GCE A levels, IB Diploma or equivalent) who do not meet the entry requirements for a bachelor’s degree may be able to fast-track their studies and complete the IFS within a shorter duration through credit exemptions for relevant module(s).

Minimum Class Size – 15. In an event that the class cannot commence due to low take up rate, applicants will be informed within 2 weeks before programme commencement.

The IFS is designed to help you develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence for a full-fledged undergraduate degree. This is also a fast-track pathway for those who do not meet the requirements for direct entry to a bachelor’s degree.
High school leavers (GCE A levels, IB Diploma or equivalent) who do not meet the requirements for direct entry to a bachelor’s degree may be able to complete the IFS within a shorter duration through credit exemptions for relevant module(s) previously completed.
Lessons are fully delivered by Ngee Ann Academy’s appointed faculty via a combination of face-to-face instructions and synchronous/asynchronous online sessions.
